Agates from Kerrouchen are showing typical characteristics:
- intensively yellow banding and a combination with red is fairly common.
- mossy- and fernlike structures are given a typical pattern to agates from Kerrouchen.
- in the center of the agate-nodules the banding can be very finelined. This fine banding produces sometimes “shadow-effects”.
From this region vein-agates with intensively colours and awesome patterns are known.
