Agates from Zaer Zajhane are showing typical characteristics:
- the skin of these nodules is covered by greenish seladonite. The shape of the nodules is in generally flatened and irregular.
- The pattern is showing a yellowish or intensively orange coloured band of chalcedony as outside rim.
- The agate in the center is mostly a whitish or bluish fortification agate.
- inclusions of the mineral goethite are common among the agates from Zaer Zajhane. Nice aggregations of this mineral - embedded in a transparent and nicely coloured chalcedony - are highly searched after by agate-collectors.
