First knowledge about the occurence of agates in Bulgaria the passionated agate-collectors from western Europe got this year on the special-exhibit “agate-dreams” in Munich (2005). One showcase was filled up with specimen from several agate-finding localities in Bulgaria. Among them very fine samples of sagenitic agate and different types of mossy-, tube- and eye-agate.
