Near to the very famous agate-location of Kuhn Quarry (Waldhambach) the not so well known Quarry of Albersweiler is situated. In the upper layers of the local rock are little nodules quiet common - but they are mostly filled up with carbonates. Agates are rare in this quarry.
But sometimes these nodules can have fillings of several agates in one nodule.
From this place are interesting pseudomorphs after fibrous crystals (zeolithc minerals) known.
