A small deposit of Amygdaloite is situated in the “Türkenheide” area near to the Kahlheckerhof at Donnersberg Hill. Here small agate-nodules (up to 30 mm in diameter) with a greenish skin can be collected. Quiet common is a spherulitical pattern. The usual colours are grey and white, but brownish or red tones do occur too.

One agate from this locality is telling a unique story: it is showing an deformated holospherulitical pattern.

Very interesting is the occurence of  silificated vulcanic ashes at this place. They look familiar to those from Katharinental Valley, but the specimen from the “Türkenheide” are polishable.
