In the environment of the place Kvetnica in the Slowakei  findings of smaller red-colored agate nodules can be made. Unfortunately these agates are usually very cracked. The formation of larger spherulithics is interesting, as well as an associated flat-parallel banding of the agates, that unites the growth of sphaerulithics in a phase of their formation.
