Kosakov Mountain is near Turnov, a township in the bohemian paradise, that is well known for its long traditioned gemstone-industry.
Besides greenish-red jasper the mountain was mined for, collectors are able to find here little agate-nodules.
In paragenesis with the chalcedony carbonates do occur. Sometimes pseudomorphs after fibrous minerals can be found too.
