The small village Esperanza is located about 10 miles northeast of Ojo Laguna. If the locality "Esperanza" is given it refers to a very general area, over 40 square miles, and could include any type of agate imaginable. In this area are a lot of small agate fields. You have to rely on the information you get from the seller.

There are currently no active agate claims.
